Frequently Asked Questions

How can I schedule my service online?

How long does the service take? (click question to expand)

Service for walk-behind mowers takes approximately 30 minutes. Riding lawn mowers may take up to 1 hour.

What are the advantages of maintaining my lawn mower? (click question to expand)

Regular maintenance is important for the safety and performance of your lawn equipment. Additionally, your lawn will benefit. Many lawn problems result from dull or poorly balanced mower blades that can shred grass, leaving it susceptible to fungus, disease and infestation. Regular maintenance can help keep your lawn healthy by keeping your mower blades sharp and in balance. Both ensure a clean, even cut.

How often should my mower be serviced? (click question to expand)

Your lawn mower engine should be serviced every 50 hours for a gasoline engine and every 100 hours for a diesel unit or annually. Engine items that should be changed and replaced are engine oil, engine oil filter, air primary filter, air pre-cleaner, and fuel filter. Changing these items will ensure your mower runs at top performance. Sharpening the blades will not only improve the cut quality but keep the grass healthy throughout the mowing season. While we are doing the service we will check other items like deck level and tire pressures. Maintaining the correct tire pressure helps keep the deck level and a leveled deck will keep the mower deck from “scalping” the grass. Technicians will also check to make sure that blades are tight and that the safety systems built into your mower are working properly. Most importantly, the number one reason to keep your lawn mower serviced is to make sure there is no down time when you need to cut the grass.
