ITC Receivers vs SF3000

by Matt Sweitzer, Atwood, IL

Planting is at a standstill here at Atwood. With the cold weather, we haven’t dried out much in the past week. I have had a couple customers bring me their ITC receivers that have been losing signal or just performing poorly. Again, I would stress using a John Deere SF3000 for planting since it will be more accurate than the ITC. If new software or a new harness does not fix the ITC, about the only thing that can be done is send it to AG Express for refurbishing. This usually costs the customer around $500. We are happy to provide a trade value on your ITC if you would like to move up to the accuracy and dependability of the SF3000.
