Apex version 3.7 is now available to download.  It includes a new backup/restore option that allows you to send all of your historical data to the new MyJohnDeere.com Operations Center.  The MyJohnDeere.com Operations Center is continually changing and adding new features.  Updates are made to the website every two weeks to fix issues and introduce new features quicker than ever before.  It’s not like Apex where you have to manually update the software on your computer.  Updates are made automatically.  Some recently updated features include the ability to post calibrate, view application maps and reports, view the weather radar, and also compare the current year’s yield map to your historical average.  Some of the features coming in the near future include creating setup data that can be sent wirelessly to the machine and spatial sorting of data.  Spatial sorting will sort the data that comes in based on the boundaries that you have on MyJohnDeere.com.  This will really help keep your data organized.  Oftentimes we see inconsistencies in the naming of fields between operators and this should help solve this issue.  When the data comes in, it will automatically be assigned to the boundary that it is within.  You can see an overview of Operation Center in this video.

If you are interested in seeing a demo of MyJohnDeere.com or would like help transferring your data from Apex to MyJohnDeere.com please give us a call.   We can also reconcile your harvest data and print your yield maps.  Also, we can map your field boundaries and guidance line  using an RTK signal for $1/acre.  We can make sure that you already have your boundaries loaded when the spatial sorting feature goes live.  You can learn more about these services on our website.
