2012 John Deere S660 single-rotor combine, 2-Wheel Drive, Interim Tier 4 with no DEF to buy or manage. Three-speed electric shift ground drive transmission with hydrostatic drive, plus a 110-volt engine coolant heater. Feederhouse is the heavy-duty, high-torque variable speed drive ? the upgraded unit built for heavy, damp crop with a feederhouse reverser for clearing slugs from the seat. Threshing and separating is the proven TriStream rotor with a round bar concave and the S-Series deep-tooth adjustable chaffer, a good corn and soybean setup. Grain handling is a standard grain tank (no factory extensions) with a 22.5 ft. one-piece unloading auger. Residue goes through a stalk/straw chopper with a manual-adjust vane tailboard for matching spread to header width.
