In this video, tillage specialist Jake Pippin walks you through how to set up TruSet for a John Deere 2230 field cultivator on a John Deere gen 4  display.

WHAT IS TruSet™ and why you need it:

• TruSet™ Tillage technology helps you increase your productivity in short tillage windows by making on-the-go depth and down-pressure adjustments from the cab in only six seconds.

• Cover more acres in a day because you spend more time tilling and less time manually adjusting your implement for changing conditions from one field to the next.

• Do a better quality tillage job because it’s easy to fine-tune the implement with 1/10th of an inch adjustments, all from the cab with the touch of a button.

TruSet™ Tillage compatibility requirements

TruSet Tillage requires a GreenStar-ready tractor with a supported display and receiver. The TruSet Tillage system must have a connection to the tractor ISO connection.

Additional TruSet Tillage information:

TruSet can be run on John Deere and competitive tractors. For older John Deere and competitive tractors, a compatibility kit is needed in addition to the TruSet Tillage system. The compatibility kit includes an add-on selective control valve (SCV) and installation components.

These John Deere models are TruSet ready and will require the compatibility kit.
